At every good Social Dance it is widely accepted that
the inclusion of One or Two Fun Dances is a good idea.
The object of this is to get everybody onto the floor,
Dancers and Non Dancers.
Usually theses dances are well known and very easy to learn.
As a rule there would be a short sequence of
16, 24 or 32 bars of music.
This is then repeated over and over again
until the music has finished.
Generally these dances are danced in rows.
They can also turn to face a different wall
during or after each sequence.
These dances are very useful at the end of a lesson
just as a bit of light relief.
A few examples of Fun Dances are :
Un, Dos, Tres
Ain't It Funny
Waltz Across Texas
I Need To Know
Crazy Little Thing
Fly Me To The Moon
Rock Around The Clock
Dance With Me
I Feel Like A Woman
Islands In The Stream
Yes Sir! That's My Baby
I've Got You
All I Do
All Of Me
To Name A Few!
